Our nurse practitioner, Allison Bodzy, was born and raised in Nashville.  She graduated cum laude with a BSN from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2000.  After her undergraduate training, she moved to Dallas, Texas , where she worked as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit and emergency room within a large Dallas-based hospital system.  While studying for her master’s degree, she also taught clinical coursework to undergraduate students at the University of Texas at Arlington.  She received her MSN in 2003 from the University of Texas at Arlington, and has been certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2004.  For the past few years, Allison has worked in the broad arena of family practice.  She is excited to apply the knowledge and skills that she has developed from her past clinical experiences to further specialize in dermatology.
           
Allison lives in West Nashville with her husband and one-year-old daughter.  She enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading, and traveling.  She is available by appointment each Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
